Halton Borough Council - Club Accreditation

Halton Baseball & Softball Club are proud to announce that we have been awarded 'Club Halton' status. Club Halton is a scheme that accredits quality sports clubs who meet a set of agreed criteria.

Thanks must go to Club Secretary Alex Heesom for his work in achieving this award, we would also like to pass on our gratitude to former Head Coaches Colin Walton and John Mills for their work in laying the foundations for this accreditation.

Coaches, Coaches and more Coaches.
Coaches Galore.

Congratulations to Kirsty Cross, Paul Williams, Mitchell Cross and Carl Heesom who have earned their BSUK Level 2 coaching certificates.

Kirsty, Paul and Carl will be coaching with the Polecats in the junior section of the club. Mitchell will be carrying on his role within the Jaguars team.

Halton Polecats continue to get called up.

Congratulations to Jonas Grader who has been selected to represent Great Britain. This year, the GB Juniors will travel to Kissimmee, Florida to compete in the USSSA Gold Medal Games from July 7-16.

Three Polecat players get called up to National Squad.

Congratulations to Owen Williams, Patrick Hansford & Tom Morrison who have all been selected to represent Great Britain in the 2011 SUMA open in Prague. The 3 players will join up with the rest of the squad for the tournament taking place from the 14th-17th April. Good luck !

World Children's Baseball Fair.

Five young British baseball players will take part in the World Children's Baseball Fair from July 27 to August 4 in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan.

 

Halton Baseball & Softball Club are proud to announce that Bronco player Ewan Williams has been selected to take part. Congratulations and best wishes Ewan from everyone at the club.

Rally Caps Continue.
Schools programme expands.

Palace Fields: Another amazing session at Palace Fields School with our first grand slam hit today ! Well over 20 kids enjoyed another great session and we look forward to seeing them next week.

The Grange: The school development program expands today with Halton Baseball & Softball Club working in the Grange School Runcorn.

This means over 50 children are taking part in baseball activities between the 2 schools. Congratulations to Alex Heesom and Kirsty Cross for their hard work on delivering this programme.
